Homegrown AI innovations tackling Africa’s agricultural challenges – from crop forecasting and pest detection to market linkages, with a strong focus on gender equity and responsible AI.

  • Support 6–10 research projects across Sub‑Saharan Africa
  • Develop locally relevant, gender‑inclusive AI tools
  • Engage ≥100 farmers per project with ≥20% improvement in yield or disease detection
  • Inform regional & continental AI policy
